LIVE VIDEO PRODUCTION WORK
I began having interest in video production in 5th grade after seeing an ad in a Popular Science Magazine for video broadcasting equipment, I was in awe. I needed to get into the field. In 6th grade I began learning basic cameras and operations, and started finding work to begin making video projects for my school at just 12 years old. When I reached high school, I knew it was game time. I started getting involved with my local community by doing volunteer work for my city’s local access channel, learning all of the equipment inside and out, then getting more involved, renting the equipment out to perform as director for Dover High School sports broadcasts. I would set up the production script, manage my crew for the broadcast, transport equipment + trailer for broadcast, set up the equipment, and direct the production with live graphics, 4 camera feeds with operators, and instant replay. In the early spring of 2019 I acquired a video production position for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, a minor league baseball team located in Manchester, New Hampshire. There I would run a live on-field and off-field camera during pregame and during the gameplay. In the early summer of 2019 I also acquired a freelance position for the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, an outdoor amphitheater located in Gilford, New Hampshire. I operated camera for big name artists such as Heart, Elle King, Asia, and Weird Al Yankovic, just to name a few. In the mid-summer of 2019 I acquired a video production position for the University of Maine at Orono in the position of a replay operator, and then stepping up my role to producer and director for live televised athletic broadcasts that are watched around the globe. Most recently, I have interned with Broadcast Management Group, out of their Las Vegas, NV Broadcast Operations Center (BOC) during the summer of 2022. I am expanding my outreach in video production work everyday, and will continue as I move forward to reach my goal of becoming a director for a major live sports television network.
